Based on Maharishi Ayurveda, the world’s oldest system of natural medicine, the Naturally Trim approach to weight loss and weight management is fundamentally different from any other program you may have tried. It does not involve stress, struggle, guilt, hard exercise, weight scales, calorie-counting diets, psychological manipulation, or artificial diet pills and powders. Naturally Trim is a simple and natural approach to obtaining your ideal weight.

You will learn many effective techniques to help correct imbalances that cause weight disorders and other health problems. These techniques will put you in tune with your body’s needs, and help you to correct the imbalance that caused the weight problem in the first place. Robert Keith Wallace, PhD

Dr. Robert Keith Wallace is recognized as the pioneering researcher in the neurophysiology of higher states of consciousness. His research has been published in many journals including Scientific American and The American Journal of Physiology. Dr. Wallace’s research on the physiology of meditation opened the door for the study of the relationship between mind and body and its application in the field of behavioral medicine. After receiving his PhD in physiology at UCLA, he did postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wallace is the author of two books, The Neurophysiology of Enlightenment and The Physiology of Consciousness, and has lectured extensively in over 50 countries around the world.

 Paul J. Morehead, PhD
Associate Chair • Assistant Professor of Physiology and Health

Dr. Morehead has nearly two decades of experience in developing and teaching courses in Maharishi Ayurveda and Vedic Science. Courses taught by Dr. Morehead include: Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis; Yoga Asanas; Diet, Digestion, and Nutrition. He has been a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation program since 1973.

 

Robert Schneider, MD, FACC, FABMR

The Heart Health course is taught by Robert Schneider, MD, FACC, one of the leading authorities in the world on natural approaches to the treatment and prevention of heart disease. For the past 30 years, Dr. Schneider has researched, practiced and taught integrative medicine based on the principles of Maharishi Ayurveda. He is the principal author of the textbook for the course: Total Heart Health. Dr. Schneider is Co-Dean of Maharishi College of Perfect Health at MUM and Director of the Institute for Natural Medicine and Prevention.
